How In-Chair Teeth Whitening Works
At Dental Hub Geelong we use the Zoom Teeth Whitening system. We offer three options at our clinic:
- In-Chair Whitening ($595*)
- Take Home Whitening ($395*)
- In-Chair + Take home ($795*)
Zoom in-chair whitening uses TGA-approved products and is performed by an AHPRA-registered clinician. Your dentist will discuss what level of whitening may be achievable for your teeth during your consultation.
Another option is the Zoom take-home kit, issued with 6 syringes of 16% carbamide peroxide or 14% hydrogen peroxide.
Our most popular option combines Zoom In-Chair Whitening with a take-home kit, so you can top up at home over time.

Frequently Asked Questions
We use an advanced tooth whitening technology called ZOOM! This highly effective and safe dental bleaching system can be used to correct tooth discolouration that can be caused by ageing, lifestyle or chemical damage to teeth.
You’ll see visible results within 45 minutes!
We also offer home whitening trays so you can maintain your new bright smile.
When performed by a dental professional, teeth whitening is safe and effective. However, over-the-counter products can be damaging to your teeth and gums if used improperly. It’s important only to have teeth whitening performed by a dental professional.
The duration of teeth whitening results can vary depending on a number of factors, including the type of whitening procedure, the severity of the stains, and your oral hygiene habits. On average, teeth whitening results last from six months to two years.
During and/or after your whitening procedure you may experience some sensitivity. Your hygienist will provide you with sensitive toothpaste or a mild desensitiser after your appointment to use until you feel more comfortable.
It’s best to avoid eating or drinking for at least 30 minutes after a teeth whitening procedure. Avoiding dark-coloured foods and drinks, such as red wine and coffee, for the first 24 hours after the procedure can also help maintain the whiteness of your teeth.
No, if you have any of these they will not change colour with whitening but the natural teeth will so we will talk to you about those types of issues.
Any invasive or surgical procedure may carry risks. Before moving forward, it is recommended that you seek a second opinion from an appropriately licensed medical professional.
