Madara Dreimane is originally from Latvia, a small country in Eastern Europe.
With a population of only 1.8 million, Madara thinks you have to be very lucky to meet her, or any other Latvian, as you move throughout this big world we live in!
As a teenager, Madara was inspired by a family member who started their career as a general dentist, progressed to work in oral medicine, and also writes scientific papers. Seeing her accomplishments over the years helped her decide to join the dental world.
After working as a dental nurse for some years, she realised her career path lay in oral health therapy. She enrolled in La Trobe University in Bendigo and graduated in 2022 with a Bachelor degree in Oral Health Therapy.
Madara is a keen learner, and continues to take courses to stay up-to-date with the latest technology and add more skills, allowing her to give her patients the best possible care. Seeing her patients leave happy after their appointment is fulfilling. And it’s very gratifying to see they have followed her advice regarding their oral health when they return.
When she’s not working, she loves being outdoors, and experiencing the magic that happens when you’re in the fresh air, and how happy it makes you feel. She’s seen it for herself as she walks along some of the great hiking trails here in Australia!
